One of the most common sense interventions utilized at the school is the use of natural consequences (a replacement for traditional punishment methods).  Sometimes, when children misbehave there is a natural set of consequences that result.   It makes sense to take advantage of these natural consequences that make it possible for students to draw their own conclusions about the life lesson being taught.
EXAMPLE
A problem on the yard at recess needs to be addressed.  To preserve learning time, the most logical time to meet to talk about the problem is during break times such as recesses or after school.

A mistake at one recess may lead to missing another so the problem can be dealt with and resolved.
